SEND

As an SEMH specialist school, we understand the many special educational needs that our young people may have. As part of the Maiden Erlegh Trust family of schools, we are committed to a policy of inclusion. Our aim is to overcome barriers to learning and make sure that the needs of all students are met.  The teaching, learning, achievements, attitudes and well-being of all students matters and we believe that all young people regardless of ability, need and behaviour are valued equally.

Visit our Key Policies page here to see our SEND Policy. The latest copies of both the SEND Information Report and SEND Policy are under review and pending approval October 2024.

Information, advice and services for Reading's children and young people with special education needs and disabilities can be found here.
